Since summer I have been working on a new group

of monochromatic drawings, using dark brown

pens. While they began as smaller sketches and

drawings, they've become closely cropped,

compressed images, built up with linear marks.

Based on nature they seem both floral and papery,

yet also sharp and secretive. I am drawn to these

qualities, both inviting and menacing at the same

time.

Exhibits:

The two recent portfolios of Full Tilt Print Studio,

"Lighten Up" (2012) and "Sub Rosa" (2016) are on

exhibit at the Art Complex Museum, Duxbury, MA,

November 13, 2016 - February 19, 2017. I have a

print in each portfolio.

"Subterranean Secrets #7" is exhibited in "2016: A

State of Mind" at Lamont Gallery, Phillips Exeter

Academy, October 31 - December 10, 2016. Boston
